In the role of Technical Editor/Marketing Coordinator, you will edit and format technical documents—including environmental analyses, federal grant applications, proposals, and other materials—using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite. You will collaborate with authors, business development leaders, project managers, and staff to produce proposals, statements of qualifications, brochures, presentations, and marketing content, and support proposal team meetings and strategic messaging. • Edit and format technical documents (environmental analyses, federal grant applications, proposals) using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite • Collaborate with authors to clarify assumptions or logic when needed • Apply an analytical mindset to improve overall document communication • Coordinate with business development leaders, project managers, and staff to prepare proposals, statements of qualifications, brochures, presentations, and other business development materials • Support proposal team meetings, review sessions, and interview preparation to develop strategic messaging • Write and edit marketing proposal documents and develop/coordinate graphics and layout

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include strong capabilities with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, meticulous attention to grammar and voice, experience in technical writing, knowledge of the environmental and engineering consulting industry, UDOT and federal environmental processes, and a graphics background to translate technical narratives into visual messaging. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or a related field, at least three years of technical editing experience, proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe InDesign, and a commitment to actively participating in our employee‑owned culture. • Proofread for spelling, punctuation, grammar, style, flow, clarity, conciseness, organization, voice, and user focus • Strong proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite • Meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and voice • Experience in technical writing (beyond editing) • Knowledge of the environmental and engineering consulting industry • Familiarity with UDOT processes and Utah/federal environmental regulations • Graphics background with ability to translate technical narratives into visual messaging • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or a related field • Minimum three years of technical editing experience • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe InDesign
