Job Highlights
About the Role
You will maintain and repair the fleet of trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across the United States. The role involves working on high‑skill diesel equipment and, at select locations, a growing fleet of CNG trucks using modern tools and procedures. Daily duties include inspecting, diagnosing and repairing a range of systems, estimating repair costs, adhering to standard labor repair times, responding to emergency breakdowns, conducting safety checks, completing required paperwork, and ensuring a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Review and assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be 18 years or older, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Successful applicants must also pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching and climbing, as well as constant standing, walking and grasping, with occasional sitting and balancing. Workers are regularly exposed to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise and extreme weather, both inside the garage and outdoors. Applicants must possess a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative, as the role may involve travel by air or access to federal property. • Minimum 4 years relevant mechanic experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to meet physical demands: frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, constant standing and walking • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Determined problem solvers
