About the Role

• Lead business development initiatives for AEC projects leveraging geoanalytics and machine learning. • Design and implement software solutions for processing massive transportation and location‑based datasets. • Manage big data pipelines handling over 200 million toll trip records and 23 million transit fare transactions. • Utilize PostgreSQL, SQL, Hadoop, MySQL, and Elasticsearch for data storage and analysis. • Develop origin‑destination matrices for transit models using advanced analytics. • Apply spatial analysis techniques within ArcGIS, Leaflet, and other GIS tools. • Program in Python, R‑Shiny, JavaScript, Java EE, .NET, Ruby on Rails, and create web interfaces with HTML5/CSS. • Oversee Unix/Linux system administration and cloud service environments.

What You Bring

The Senior Manager and Business Development role requires technical expertise in software development, geoanalytics, machine learning, natural language processing, and GIS development. The successful candidate should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrable AEC business development and project delivery skills, and experience in data analysis, database application, and programming to efficiently process massive datasets. Deep experience with big data is essential, including managing reporting for over 200 million toll trips and analyzing more than 23 million electronic transit fare card transactions to develop origin‑destination matrices using multiple database platforms such as PostgreSQL, SQL, Hadoop, MySQL, and Elasticsearch. Proficiency in Python, SQL, HTML5/CSS, R‑Shiny, Leaflet, ArcGIS, JavaScript, Java EE, .NET, Ruby on Rails, as well as IT/networking, Unix/Linux system administration, and cloud service environments is required. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, 10+ years of relevant post‑education experience, advanced proficiency with cloud service environments, and strong expertise in spatial relationship techniques and geographic analysis. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and essential professional licensure or certification. • Possess 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science; advanced cloud proficiency required. • Preferred: Master’s degree and relevant professional licensure/certification.
