About the Role
• Lead technical delivery of timber structures, including mass‑timber systems, connections and hybrid solutions. • Advise clients, architects and builders on practical, compliant and innovative timber design strategies for new‑build and adaptive‑reuse projects. • Create and manage timber‑specific design procedures to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality outcomes and seamless integration with other structural materials. • Review and validate timber calculations, connection details and drawings, producing technical specifications aligned with standards and sustainability targets. • Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering reviews, offering input on budgets, schedules and constructability for timber‑focused projects.

What You Bring
• Bachelor of Engineering with at least 12 years of experience delivering complex structural projects across multiple sectors in Australia or New Zealand. • Demonstrated experience in mass‑timber design or adaptive‑reuse projects. • Proficiency with advanced digital workflows and software such as ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT and SpaceGASS. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with internal teams, clients, architects and contractors.
