About the Role
The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician performs residential electrical service work—including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades—while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local and national electrical codes. • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting. • Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing systems to meet customer needs and code requirements. • Perform residential Level 2 EV charger installations, including site assessments, panel upgrades, and permitting support. • Conduct safety inspections and code compliance checks. • Provide exceptional customer service and clearly communicate work performed and recommendations to homeowners. • Complete required documentation such as service tickets, time logs, and material usage records. • Be on‑call and respond to emergency situations. • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years residential electrical work experience. • Valid State Journeyman Electrician License. • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state‑specific code requirements. • Proficient with hand and power tools. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. • Strong communication and customer‑service abilities. • Eligible to meet company driving standards and possess a valid driver’s license. • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Experience installing residential Level 2 EV chargers.
