About the Role
The position demands planning, implementing, and supervising VDC processes using appropriate technology platforms, coordinating with project leadership, design teams, and pre‑construction services, and overseeing the production and management of 3D and 4D models. Responsibilities also include establishing project scopes, schedules, and deliverables, communicating model‑generated information, managing reality‑capture data, and contributing to the development of the group’s VDC Playbook and BIM standards. • Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes via appropriate technology platforms. • Supervise the integrated construction team and coordinate with project leadership, design, and preconstruction services. • Produce and manage 3D and 4D models, establishing project scope, schedule, and deliverables. • Communicate model‑generated information and reality‑capture data to the project team. • Implement 3D technology during construction and support BIM development for self‑performed work. • Contribute to the group’s VDC Playbook, capture lessons learned, and present at BIM/VDC conferences. • Lead internal training initiatives and mentor team members. • Provide support beyond assigned geographic locations and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Manager to join its Data Center Group, where the incumbent will implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes throughout all project phases. The role requires strong communication skills to interact with staff at every level in a dynamic environment, as well as flexibility, inventiveness, dedication, efficiency, integrity, and confidentiality. The manager will facilitate and manage project collaboration and integrated delivery activities for construction teams. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, possess at least eight years of progressively challenging construction management experience, and demonstrate advanced proficiency with 2D, 3D, and 4D software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, Revizto, and Synchro. A valid driver’s license, ability to lead dynamic teams, and willingness to work full‑time on‑site are required; professional licensure and a Part 107 drone license are preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. • Minimum eight years of progressive construction management experience. • Advanced competency with 2D/3D/4D software (Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, Revizto, Synchro, Enscape, ArcGIS, Drone Deploy). • Proven ability to manage and lead dynamic teams. • Valid driver’s license; must work full‑time on‑site. • Professional licensure preferred; Part 107 drone license advantageous. • Strong communication, flexibility, and high integrity.
