Job Highlights
About the Role
• Upgrade existing switchgear systems with pre‑engineered retrofit solutions to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency. • Troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair/retrofit Schneider products on site or in the shop. • Conduct testing, inspection, calibration, and component replacement using industry‑best practices and a range of test equipment. • Collaborate with engineering and product support teams to resolve complex issues and provide start‑up services compliant with specifications. • Build strong customer relationships and produce detailed service, preventive‑maintenance, and start‑up reports. • Travel regionally or nationally, including overnight trips, to support customers. • Assist senior technicians and work with Project Managers on large‑scale start‑ups.
