About the Role

You will direct in‑house crews and subcontractors, work directly with customers on bidding and billing, and lead internal and external project teams to ensure on‑budget and on‑schedule delivery. Daily reporting to customers and internal management, weekly client meetings, resource assignment, and project billing are core duties. You will also approve timesheets, ensure teams have proper equipment, collaborate with other managers across fielding, design, and quality control, evaluate team performance, and develop tools to monitor productivity. • Direct internal crews and subcontractors while coordinating with customers on bidding and billing. • Lead project teams to deliver on‑budget and on‑schedule results. • Provide daily reports to customers and internal management. • Conduct weekly meetings with clients and project teams. • Assign resources and oversee task completion for each project. • Submit completed projects for billing and approve timesheets and daily logs. • Ensure teams have required equipment and coordinate with other managers for seamless fielding, design, and QC processes. • Evaluate team performance and create improvement plans. • Develop tools and metrics to monitor productivity and deliver reports to supervisors. • Maintain OSP fiber engineering expertise and troubleshoot complex telecom challenges. • Manage schedules, read workprints, and communicate progress and recommendations to senior leadership. • Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance across all project activities.

What You Bring

The role requires solid knowledge of aerial and underground telecommunications, OSP fiber engineering experience, and a track record of high‑quality work. Candidates should have at least three years of OSP engineering project experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and intermediate schedule‑management skills. Strong written and verbal communication, the ability to read workprints, identify colors, and uphold OSHA safety standards are essential.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 per year, dependent on experience, and includes a competitive benefits package.
