About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports an affordable‑housing community, performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance and assisting with unit make‑ready under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic repairs, including swimming‑pool maintenance and chemical log updates. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and community features to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance‑related turn events and unit make‑ready activities. • Maintain a well‑organized, stocked maintenance shop while adhering to OSHA safety standards and hazard‑communication programs. • Keep accurate records of service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and work‑in‑progress. • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, reporting needs to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround times, and enforce community policies consistently. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and utilize property resources economically. • Perform general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units. • Support unit inspections and assist with other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, and be able to meet the physical demands of moving, climbing, lifting 100+ lb objects, and working overtime or on‑call emergencies.

Benefits
