About the Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) Manager is accountable for all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, contracts, and commercial control throughout a project's lifecycle. This role ensures construction projects are delivered within approved budgets while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and value for the company. Strong leadership in cost planning, contract administration, and risk management is essential to maintain financial efficiency across multiple projects. • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analyses; develop and manage project budgets. • Oversee the tendering process, issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts. • Draft and manage contractual correspondence, including claims, variations, and extensions of time. • Monitor cash flow, cost‑to‑complete, and profitability; produce MIS and financial progress reports. • Identify commercial and contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers for approvals and dispute resolution. • Lead, mentor, and review the work of quantity surveyors, estimators, and billing engineers.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, with a Master’s in Construction Management being preferred. Eight to ten years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management, including at least five years in a senior managerial capacity, is required. Key competencies include cost management, contract administration, tendering, budgeting, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership, along with proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools such as Candy or CostX.
