About the Role

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets covering labor, materials, equipment, and services. • Perform cost analysis and forecasting to keep projects within budget. • Identify financial risks and create mitigation strategies. • Prepare and present cost reports and progress updates to managers and stakeholders. • Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and contract management for cost control. • Seek cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities in design and execution. • Manage third‑party quantity surveyors and validate construction cost estimates. • Maintain a historical cost data repository for future project reference. • Define and track cost performance metrics, leading monthly reporting and analysis. • Comply with SOX control responsibilities when applicable.

What You Bring

The firm is looking for an experienced Cost Consultant to join its data‑center team, where the role will oversee cost management for data‑center construction projects and ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The consultant will work closely with project teams, procurement and contract management while providing analytical insight and presenting cost performance to stakeholders. • Minimum three years of cost engineering experience, preferably in data‑center construction. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred. • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in cost estimation software, and solid financial forecasting knowledge. • Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑facing abilities. • Organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively as part of a team.
