About the Role
The New Development Leasing Manager leads the launch and lease‑up of new properties in emerging markets, driving brand building, partnership cultivation and innovative marketing. This role oversees a part‑time leasing and marketing team, ensures compliance and pre‑leasing milestones, and balances day‑to‑day operations with strategic growth initiatives. The manager reports to the New Development Manager and supervises Leasing and Marketing Associates and Brand Ambassadors, while collaborating with the new development mission control team. • Oversee part‑time team scheduling, training and adherence to Core standards • Develop and execute go‑to‑market and leasing plans to boost brand awareness and lease‑up success • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses, academic institutions and community stakeholders • Compile and deliver leasing and marketing reports for each community • Partner with mission control to run events and projects that generate market buzz • Monitor and coach part‑time team’s sales knowledge and touring performance • Manage day‑to‑day operations of temporary leasing spaces for efficiency and excellence • Ensure pre‑leasing compliance with lease execution, financial requirements and company policies • Achieve pre‑leasing milestones in line with company goals and bonus agreements • Lift and move objects up to 50 lb regularly, including bending and stooping

What You Bring
• High school diploma; college degree preferred • Minimum 2 years leasing, real‑estate development or property‑management experience with successful lease‑ups • Proven track record in go‑to‑market strategies and lease‑ups for student‑market developments • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Windows or Apple operating systems • Creative, innovative approach to driving leasing success through multitasking and networking • Energetic and enthusiastic communicator who can articulate a compelling vision and close leases • Experience with Entrata and Yardi software • Strong organizational and sales performance focus • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
