About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at Mesa Station Apartments is responsible for delivering quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, and expedited service while providing personal attention to each resident. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs, responding promptly to resident requests with a professional attitude, and performing routine maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal when applicable. The technician maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, safe and operational, may be scheduled on‑call for after‑hour emergencies, and reports any maintenance concerns to the supervisor while adhering to fair housing laws and attending required training. Employees must follow all safety procedures, dress according to Cushman & Wakefield uniform standards, safeguard company tools and equipment, and demonstrate reliable on‑site attendance, reporting any tardiness promptly. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (paint, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs) • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests • Perform routine maintenance: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, snow removal • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas and dog park clean, safe, operational • Participate in on‑call emergency response and report issues to supervisor • Follow fair housing laws, safety procedures, and company training programs • Uphold company appearance standards and proper use of tools/equipment

What You Bring
Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), the ability to read manuals and safety rules, perform basic calculations, solve routine problems, and write reports, as well as common‑sense understanding of instructions. The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education and at least one year of related maintenance experience. Work is performed in a professional office setting using standard equipment, with regular travel between properties in varying weather; physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and up to 10 % travel time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent) • Ability to read manuals, perform basic calculations, and write routine reports • Minimum education: High School diploma/GED or trade/technical school • At least 1 year of related maintenance experience • Ability to lift/move up to 100 lb and work in varied weather conditions • Travel between properties up to 10% of time
