About the Role

The Project Surveyor will analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys, compiling record data and providing sound analysis for accurate property line locations. They will perform quality‑control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and compute layouts for subdivisions, roads, lots, buildings, and utilities. Additional duties include assisting staff with report preparation, coordinating field and office work on complex projects, developing work plans, directing staff, monitoring the efforts of assigned personnel and sub‑consultants, and supervising survey technicians as needed. • Prepare complete boundary surveys with accurate property line analysis. • Conduct quality‑control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Compute layout designs for subdivisions, roads, lots, buildings, and utilities. • Coordinate field and office staff on complex design and survey tasks. • Develop project work plans and provide direction to staff and sub‑consultants. • Supervise survey technicians and monitor subcontractor performance.

As a Project Surveyor you will play a key role in shaping regional projects, leveraging cutting‑edge tools and proven expertise to ensure reliable surveying and measurement services. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent technical experience, at least five years of related experience, and preferably LSIT or PLS certification. Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and MicroStation, as well as strong knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, and measurement systems, is required. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, be able to operate a motor vehicle, and have proficient English communication skills. • Possess 5+ years of surveying experience and an associate degree or equivalent. • Hold LSIT or PLS certification and advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and MicroStation. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and strong English communication skills.
