About the Role

The HVAC Technician 1 role involves professional communication and appearance while delivering exemplary service to customers. Technicians deliver portable HVAC equipment, operate, repair, and prepare it for rental, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. The position also supports other technicians on large jobs and may be on call for emergency service. • Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pickups, and service calls. • Deliver, install, and train customers on rental HVAC equipment. • Obtain customer signatures and track equipment serial numbers. • Troubleshoot operation and controls of rental equipment. • Operate company vehicle safely and follow safety policies. • Clean, test, and prepare returned equipment to standards. • Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural gas applications and verify safe connections. • Maintain accurate inventory records with managers and sales engineers. • Respond to emergency service calls on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings.
