About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. The driver also ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards, adheres to all company, state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. The driver performs thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reports safety issues, and follows route sheets and maps to service each customer. They operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated facilities, while maintaining courteous interactions with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. Additional duties include tagging unsatisfactory containers, monitoring waste for unacceptable material, cleaning spills, and keeping the vehicle clean, all while meeting productivity standards and participating in the ReSOP safety program.
