About the Role

The Yard Foreman position provides an entrepreneurial, empowering environment where employees can develop a career track, leverage existing skills while learning new ones, and work with an incredible team. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized yard, supervising loading and unloading of trucks, and ensuring equipment is ready for customer orders. • Assign daily work to yard employees • Supervise loading and unloading of trucks • Ensure yard safety, organization, and cleanliness • Perform daily forklift inspections • Verify work orders and stage equipment for loading • Assist customers with order fulfillment and truck loading • Inspect returned equipment for damage and update status • Maintain equipment status checklists and track TBR/DBR fleet • Coach staff on safe work habits and provide on‑the‑job assistance

What You Bring

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma and at least three years of construction experience, preferably with equipment shipping and receiving. They must understand equipment utilization, safety requirements, and be physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in varied weather conditions while adhering to Sunbelt’s safety policies and ADA accommodations. • Hold a high school diploma and at least three years of construction experience (preferred) • Experience in equipment shipping and receiving with knowledge of utilization and safety requirements • Demonstrated proficiency with tools and equipment • Ability to lift 25–50+ lbs, bend, squat, crouch, and work in extreme weather or night/weekend shifts
