About the Role
The Program Manager – FAA SSM Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Subject Matter Expert will lead and coordinate complex FAA SSM projects that develop, deploy, and sustain corrective maintenance work orders for ESS systems in CONUS and OCONUS environments. Responsibilities include lifecycle CM planning, stakeholder engagement, acquisition oversight, and guiding cross‑functional and subcontractor teams to meet technical, schedule, and budget objectives in line with FAA standards. • Lead and manage FAA SSM corrective maintenance programs for electronic security systems across CONUS and OCONUS. • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, acquisition oversight, and cross‑functional/sub‑contractor teams to meet FAA technical, schedule, and budget goals. • Serve as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer, COR, and customer agency representatives. • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, K‑EXEC data entries, vendor specifications, BOE, BOM, and Scopes of Work. • Provide mentorship and training to FAA security professionals and oversee field technician deployment. • Ensure compliance with FAA reliability and turnaround time standards for system failures. • Report to the CIP Operating Unit Director and advise senior KBR management on program performance. • Maintain safety, quality assurance, and support warehouse inventory and property management audits.

What You Bring
The incumbent must possess deep knowledge of electronic security systems—including physical access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, security gates, and associated cybersecurity and power support infrastructures—and be proficient in interpreting technical documentation and troubleshooting. The role serves as the authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer, COR, and customer agency representatives, and must produce clear technical writing for FAA Program Management Reviews. Candidates must have at least seven years of federal electronic security experience, with a minimum of five years supervising construction, installation, testing, integration, and maintenance of complex systems, and at least two years managing large government contracts involving teams of 25 or more. PMP certification is required; DoD experience is preferred. Travel up to 30 % to CONUS and OCONUS sites may be required. • Minimum 7 + years federal electronic security experience; 5 + years supervising complex system projects; 2 + years managing large government contracts (≥25 personnel). • PMP certification required; DoD experience preferred. • Ability to travel up to 30 % domestically and internationally. • Strong technical writing skills for FAA Program Management Reviews and other documentation.

The position is based in North Charleston, SC, or can be performed remotely, with a salary range of $116,100 – $174,200 for South Carolina locations.
