About the Role
Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet that serves over 20 million customers, using modern tools to service diesel and CNG equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of vehicles. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair time • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review, complete, or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, a clean‑record driver’s license, be 18 or older, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Success in this role comes from teamwork, independent initiative, enjoyment of varied challenges, and strong problem‑solving skills, while adhering to OSHA and corporate safety standards. • Stable Monday‑Friday second‑shift (11 am‑7:30 pm) with no weekends • Minimum 2 years relevant mechanical experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking) • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination • Team player who also works well independently • Determined problem solver
