About the Role
Parsons is anticipating the need for a Project Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project in Dublin. The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of all package activities within a metro project. This includes supporting the management and coordination of key stakeholders across all project phases including design, planning, procurement, construction, and operations. The Project Manager oversees delivery of the metro project, ensuring alignment across all phases and stakeholders. • Plan, coordinate and manage all project phases from concept through completion, defining scope, budget, schedule and resources. • Lead multidisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, contractors and specialists, ensuring progress monitoring, risk management and corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, planning and procurement requirements and oversee quality assurance and issue resolution. • Manage interfaces between work packages and systems to achieve effective integration and deliver contracts within the wider programme. • Lead stakeholder engagement, provide regular progress reporting and promote continuous improvement and best practices.

What You Bring
Candidates must have over a decade of project delivery experience, including several years on high‑value rail or infrastructure projects, and hold an engineering qualification at NFQ Level 6 or 7. They should possess strong commercial and financial acumen, proven construction management expertise, and familiarity with NEC contracts. Additional preferred qualifications include project management certifications such as PMP or CCM, relevant health and safety training, professional registration or chartership, and membership in recognized professional institutions like MAPM or IPM. • Bring 10+ years of project delivery experience, including 5+ years on high‑value metro, rail or complex infrastructure projects, with an NFQ Level 6/7 engineering qualification. • Demonstrated construction management experience, strong commercial and financial awareness, and familiarity with NEC contracts. • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex stakeholder environments. • Preferred certifications: PMP, CCM or equivalent; relevant health and safety training; professional registration or chartership. • Membership in a recognized professional institution (e.g., MAPM, IPM) is advantageous.
