Perform cleaning duties across school facilities, maintaining hygiene and safety.

About the Role
• Clean and maintain assigned areas such as classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways. • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas. • Check and empty trash receptacles as needed. • Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage. • Notify lead cleaner or manager of needed repairs or additions to building systems. • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co‑workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers. • Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles. • Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls. • Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel. • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas. • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks. • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools. • Sweep walkways, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, and perform other seasonal tasks. • Maintain restroom cleanliness, including polishing as needed. • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulators.

What You Bring
We are looking for a reliable and experienced School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties in designated areas at a K-12 school, college or university campus environment. This role is open to internal candidates. • Must be at least 18 years old. • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required. • Preferred: prior customer service experience. • Preferred: one year of similar work experience.
