About the Role

What You Bring
The Finisher Foreman supervises and coordinates the activity of Finisher workers to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and on schedule. This role requires strong foundational knowledge of concrete processes, including pouring, leveling, forming, troweling, and the operation of troweling machines. The foreperson must understand all safety hazards associated with the work and be capable of safely using related tools and equipment, whether in a plant operation or on a construction jobsite. The position demands physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), work on uneven or muddy surfaces, climb ladders or scaffolds, and endure adverse weather conditions. It also requires mental acuity, including effective communication with management and field crews, reading and writing comprehension for safety directives, basic math skills, detail‑orientation, decision‑making, and strong leadership and motivational abilities. • Understand mix designs, design limits, and verify each truck’s mix before use.
