About the Role

In this role you will partner with regional Operations Managers to set and achieve operational objectives while fostering a strong health‑and‑safety culture. You will act as the regional champion for customer experience, driving productivity improvements, inventory efficiency, and capital‑budget stewardship. Alignment of workforce planning, margin targets, and online reputation management will be essential to delivering superior service. Continuous performance reviews and coaching will support both managers and third‑party partners. • Collaborate with regional Operations Managers to plan, budget, and deliver operational objectives • Instill a health‑and‑safety culture and ensure adherence to policies • Champion customer experience and drive continuous improvement • Monitor, measure, and implement best‑practice initiatives for productivity gains • Lead growth‑through‑service mentality, improving technical leads and conversion rates • Implement inventory controls to optimize product and part availability • Oversee regional capital budget, monitoring and optimizing capital costs • Optimize workforce planning and call allocation to maximize experience while controlling costs • Align objectives to achieve planned margins across businesses and the region • Manage online reputation by completing customer reviews and addressing issues • Set and monitor manager performance objectives, conducting quarterly reviews • Review cost, quality, safety, CX, growth, and productivity metrics; execute improvement plans • Build a strong operations team through hiring, onboarding, training, and development • Research and apply industry best practices to enhance performance • Partner with Marketing and Sales to operationalize new products and services • Provide fully stocked trucks, tools, and ongoing skills training • Ensure a predictable, stable work schedule • Consistently meet or exceed growth and profitability targets

What You Bring

The ideal applicant brings at least five years of progressive general‑management or operational experience in consumer services, preferably within the HVAC market, and strong business acumen backed by formal education or equivalent experience. Demonstrated success in driving process control, productivity, and quality improvements, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential. • Possess a growth mindset, dependability, ambition, and desire to grow with Reliance • Minimum five years progressive general‑management or operational experience in consumer services, preferably HVAC • Demonstrate strong business acumen, supported by a business degree or equivalent experience • Proven track record in process control, productivity, and quality improvement • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, innovative thinking, and problem‑solving skills • Highly motivated to build team spirit, motivate members, and encourage collaboration • Professional negotiation skills with ability to influence operational improvements • Ability to move ideas to implementation quickly and thoroughly • Strong relationship‑building with internal and external stakeholders • Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive positive change
