About the Role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and company safety policies. The role includes routine inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining inventory records and completing tasks assigned by the supervising manager. • Promote and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. • Perform regular inspections and functional checks of all electrical units. • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions promptly. • Use and maintain electrical testing and repair equipment safely. • Maintain accurate inventory records and order spare parts as needed. • Document all repair and maintenance activities in a log. • Complete tasks assigned by the supervising manager and maintain professional appearance.

What You Bring

The position requires up to 12‑hour shifts of hard physical work in varying temperatures and weather conditions, with frequent lifting of up to 50 lb, climbing, and work in confined or uneven areas. Employees must wear required personal protective equipment and be able to work at heights while adhering to fall‑protection standards. This is a full‑time role scheduled for approximately 50 hours per week, with the schedule driven by project needs. Travel to project sites can reach up to 90 percent, requiring the technician to be on‑site for the majority of the time. • Minimum 4 years of related electrical experience or equivalent training/education. • NCCER certification/license preferred (not required). • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project‑specific regulations. • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. • Strong arithmetic skills for measurements and calculations. • Ability to follow precise standards, procedures and instructions accurately. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work at heights, and operate in adverse environmental conditions.
