About the Role
The incumbent will interact with members and guests throughout their visit, manage vehicle and golf‑cart parking, operate shuttle vans for local trips—including airport runs—and keep all transportation areas tidy. Additional duties include assisting with baggage, wheelchairs, performing basic vehicle cleaning, conducting safety checks, and reporting mileage and trip details. Participation in team meetings and flexibility to cover extra errands is also expected. • Greet and assist arriving and departing members and guests promptly • Park and retrieve vehicles and golf carts safely and efficiently • Operate shuttle vans for member and VIP transportation to local sites and the airport • Maintain cleanliness of parking areas, shuttles, and company vehicles • Perform routine vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, fluids, safety equipment) • Handle baggage, wheelchairs, and deliver guests’ belongings • Prepare and submit trip reports (passenger count, mileage, fuel consumption) • Follow all traffic laws and departmental policies • Monitor and manage staff transportation schedules • Provide deliveries, pickups, and run errands as needed

What You Bring
Discovery is seeking a Driver/Valet Attendant for its Transportation Department. The role serves as the initial and final point of contact with members and guests, aiming to create lasting positive impressions while handling parking and shuttle transportation. Candidates must hold a current U.S. driver’s license (or international equivalent) meeting insurance standards, possess at least a high school diploma, and have a minimum of six months experience in high‑volume guest service such as a resort or private club. Physical stamina for extended standing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in various weather conditions is required, as is the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork are essential. • Hold a current U.S. driver’s license (or equivalent) meeting insurance standards • Clean driving record that satisfies the club’s insurance requirements • At least half a year of guest‑service experience in a fast‑paced resort or private club • Education: high school diploma or equivalent; prior valet work is a plus • Available for evenings, weekends, holidays and extended shifts as needed • Capable of standing for long periods, lifting 50 lb, and working outdoors in any weather • Demonstrate strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
