About the Role
• Work within a delivery team reporting to the lead Project Manager. • Administer contracts and manage the main contractor throughout delivery. • Lead design teams, consultants and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and service excellence. • Oversee contractor management from RIBA Stage 5 design through to fully coordinated delivery, maintaining schedules and budgets. • Control project budgets and change management to keep forecast costs on target. • Maintain a live risk register and conduct regular risk reviews with the wider team. • Promote inclusivity, sustainability and innovation while upholding Mace values. • Ensure accurate plans, documentation and oversight of budgets, risks and changes. • Create opportunity: foster continuous improvement and inspire people to excel.

The role is part of a life‑sciences programme delivering critical national infrastructure for a central government client. We seek a Project Manager with strong delivery and construction‑management experience to support secured projects throughout the programme of works. The position is site‑based, split between the client’s Weybridge location in Surrey (three days a week) and Moorgate, London, and requires BPSS and SC clearance. • Hold a professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent development. • Demonstrated on‑site project delivery and construction‑management experience. • Technical knowledge of building regulations and health & safety requirements. • Extensive experience delivering public‑sector projects and programmes. • Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder‑management capabilities. • Client focus: own quality, strategic outcomes and build long‑term client relationships.
