About the Role
As a Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Technician you will perform scheduled maintenance, handle service requests, execute repairs and equipment changeouts, and collaborate with dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources, working from a fully stocked service van equipped with an iPad, iPhone, and necessary PPE. • Perform scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts • Work with dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources • Install and service HVAC and ice machine equipment • Conduct routine maintenance and preventative repairs on refrigeration systems • Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC issues • Respond to emergency service calls • Provide facility condition observations and improvement recommendations • Participate in facility‑related projects • Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE • Complete paperwork and job reports promptly

The role requires 3‑6 years of experience with commercial HVAC refrigeration systems, EPA certification, the ability to travel to client sites, and physical capability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and maneuver in confined spaces, as well as meeting enhanced security clearance and background check requirements. Key skills include installing and servicing HVAC and ice‑machine equipment, conducting routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, responding to emergencies, documenting observations, participating in facility projects, adhering to safety policies, delivering excellent customer service, and completing paperwork promptly. • 3‑6 years experience in commercial HVAC refrigeration systems • EPA certification required • Ability to travel to client sites for training and meetings • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lb, and work in confined spaces • Meet enhanced security clearance requirements and pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks • Deliver excellent customer service • Work independently with minimal supervision • Familiarity with industry software (preferred)
