About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentoring junior technicians. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, maintenance activities, and parts used. • Track and manage department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring

The position requires physical capabilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing appropriate PPE. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, and includes frequent movement between departments and floors, averaging 6‑12 miles per day. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • Have 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. • Demonstrate 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Apply knowledge of electrical and electronic principles for at least 1 year. • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Microsoft Office suite effectively. • Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts. • Preferred: Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field. • Preferred: Experience with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines. • Preferred: Experience operating and maintaining robotic equipment. • Preferred: Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
