About the Role
The Project Engineer role contributes to the safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budgeting through closeout, promoting safe work practices and collaborating with all levels of project management and field supervision. • Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs. • Develop and value‑engineer project budgets with executive support. • Facilitate subcontractor bid process, including documentation distribution and tracking. • Negotiate subcontracts and material buyouts. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities. • Manage on‑site subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, and quality‑safety compliance. • Monitor and forecast project costs, labor, material, and equipment to protect profitability. • Execute project closeout procedures. • Provide leadership through relationship building, motivation, and teamwork. • Interact with clients and prospects to identify and pursue new business opportunities. • Prepare and deliver client presentations and negotiate contracts under supervision. • Build and maintain strong working relationships.

What You Bring
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with senior management. • Hold a B.S. in Construction Engineering or related field. • Possess 3‑5 years of construction experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
