About the Role

Reporting to regional and practice‑area leadership, you will guide the pursuit, win, and execution of healthcare projects such as hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health facilities, and medical office buildings. You will oversee the regional healthcare team, develop business plans, forecast pipelines, and ensure technical excellence throughout project delivery. • Lead pursuit, win, and execution of diverse healthcare projects across the region. • Manage and expand the regional healthcare engineering team. • Develop and coordinate business plans, pipeline forecasts, and winning strategies. • Maintain and grow relationships with owners, architects, PM/CM firms, and contractors. • Ensure technical excellence and resolve complex project issues. • Oversee project financials, reporting, and achieve $1‑3 million annual revenue targets. • Articulate firm’s value proposition and lead integrated services sales presentations. • Produce articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences. • Recruit and mentor senior staff with market‑specific experience.

The role can be based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco and involves travel to client sites. • Require 15+ years Life Science design experience, including 5+ years consulting. • Minimum 7 years management experience and 5+ years business development. • Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; PE license required. • Thorough knowledge of MEP systems and ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
