About the Role
The opportunity is for a Factory Controller within Hitachi Energy’s Grid Components business. In this dynamic role you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating alternatives and recommending solutions. You will drive the definition and implementation of standards and business‑specific guidelines in financial control processes, ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. You will translate budgets into operational plans, establish measurable targets and execute business planning and forecasting. You will evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions, recommend corrective actions, monitor progress and provide insights for decision‑making. What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and has at least five years of finance or controlling experience, with work authorization for the United States. Proficiency in ERP, SAP and MS Office is required; a postgraduate degree or CPA is preferred. Fluency in English, strong communication skills and some people‑management experience are also expected. • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of finance/controlling experience. • Authorized to work in the United States for Hitachi Energy. • Proficient with ERP, SAP, and MS Office applications. • Preferred: postgraduate degree or CPA qualification. • Fluent English with strong communication skills. • Some experience in people management.
