Warehouse Associate I

About the Role

The role involves specialized warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift, and counter work, or a generalized position covering all departments. You will be responsible for moving and organizing materials, verifying inventory, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Work is performed under close supervision with clearly prescribed rules and past practices. You will seek advice on non‑routine issues, and any deviations are cleared by a supervisor, ensuring limited independent judgment. • Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport goods • Stack or pile lumber, boards, or pallets onto racks, shelves, or vehicles • Install protective devices (bracing, padding, strapping) to prevent shifting or damage • Verify that system inventory matches floor inventory • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies

What You Bring

The job is located in a comfortable indoor area where occasional mild discomfort may occur. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, standing for more than 60 minutes, and repetitive movements such as bending, squatting, or using a calculator. No travel is required. A high‑school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with 0‑2 years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of machines and tools and forklift experience.
