About the Role
The role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding major components on vehicles and equipment. The technician must ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repair or replacement of components, and be willing to travel throughout the service area as needed. Key duties include maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards, conducting proficient inspections and moderately complex repairs, using vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes, estimating time and material costs, and notifying supervisors of additional work or repair overruns. The technician also inspects the quality of supplier repairs, assesses structural damage, responds to emergency breakdowns, performs safety checks, and may assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of supervision. • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, or rebuild major vehicle and equipment components. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards. • Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and assign appropriate repairs. • Estimate time and material costs, requisition parts, and inform supervisors of additional work or schedule overruns. • Inspect supplier repairs, assess structural damage, and determine the most suitable repair methods. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct vehicle safety checks. • Provide guidance and direction to other maintenance personnel and act as supervisor when needed.

What You Bring
Qualifications require at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the United States, and able to pass pre‑employment drug screening and physical examinations. Required skills include operating repair tools and equipment, diagnosing a variety of vehicles and equipment, communicating repair needs, and using fleet maintenance software. • Require at least four years of relevant experience and a valid, clean‑record driver’s license. • Must be 18 or older, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and pass drug screening and physical exams. • Possess skills in operating tools, diagnosing equipment, communicating repairs, and using fleet maintenance software.
