About the Role
As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will shape transportation networks that strengthen communities and support daily life. Projects reduce traffic congestion, improve public safety, and facilitate access to healthcare, education, and employment for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. Leading such initiatives connects neighborhoods, promotes economic growth, and creates infrastructure that benefits everyone. • Lead Roadway Engineer on ODOT and local transportation projects. • Collaborate with project team members throughout the project lifecycle. • Review roadway designs and Maintenance of Traffic plans. • Mentor junior engineering staff. • Develop cost proposals, specifications, estimates, and final bid packages. • Prepare required project development reports.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. • Possess an Ohio Professional Engineer license or obtain one within 6‑12 months. • Bring at least 12 years of highway design experience. • Apply knowledge of AASHTO and OMUTCD standards. • Experience with Ohio DOT or local projects. • Proficient in CADD/Design software, preferably OpenRoads. • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $130,000 – $170,000, based on experience and geographic location.
