Sales Support Specialist

About the Role

• Prepare timely, comprehensive offers/quotations for GIS and generator circuit breaker RFQs. • Identify technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. • Collaborate with sales support, product groups, territory marketing and service sales managers. • Analyse customer needs using market data and inputs from service/territory managers. • Ensure proposals comply with Hitachi Energy procedures, guidelines and rationalise terms and conditions. • Review technical documents, define scope of supply, product configuration, and prepare datasheets, quality plans and specifications. • Support ASMs during offer clarification and follow‑up. • Coordinate with design, project management, SCM and other functions during tendering. • Conduct cost analysis and lost‑proposal analysis to improve future offers. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

What You Bring

• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering. • Possess 3–8 years experience in GIS, EPC or high/medium‑voltage product sales and tendering. • Experienced in preparing and supporting offer/quotation processes. • Proficient with sales/tendering tools. • Knowledge of power‑grid market and system offerings. • Excellent English communication skills.
