Job Highlights
About the Role
The Assembler I builds and wires electrical control equipment, assembling subassemblies, components, and fixed assemblies. They perform the wiring required for test preparation and final inspection, using established power‑checking procedures to verify electrical and mechanical integrity. All work is completed to meet quantity and perfect‑quality standards. Finished products are prepared for shipment, carriers are called, and materials are loaded into vehicles. The assembler observes good housekeeping and safety practices, maintains a clean and orderly work area through 5‑S duties, and lifts up to 35 lb with reasonable accommodation. • Wire, assemble, fit, and mount subassemblies and components in electrical control equipment. • Perform test preparation, final inspection, and power‑checking to verify unit integrity. • Follow oral/written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation. • Handle materials per established procedures and perform routine equipment maintenance. • Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. • Monitor job progress, report shortages or problems, and coordinate shipment logistics. • Maintain a clean, safe workspace by executing 5‑S and housekeeping practices.

What You Bring
Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing or assembly experience, and basic computer skills. A technical degree and experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, particularly panelboards or switchboards, are preferred. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; active‑duty military personnel are exempt from geographic restrictions. • Lift up to 35 lb (with reasonable accommodation) and adhere to safety protocols. • Minimum: high school diploma/GED, 1 year manufacturing/assembly experience, basic computer skills. • Preferred: technical degree and experience with panelboards/switchboards. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; active‑duty military exempt from location limits.
