About the Role
The tenant acquisition specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting new tenants using marketing strategies and networking, while ensuring key performance indicators are met and industry best practices are applied. The role also includes handling tenant inquiries, conducting property tours, negotiating leasing proposals, preparing lease agreements and addendums, and managing timely renewals and expirations to keep tenancy records current. Maintaining up‑to‑date records of lease agreements, tenant information, and occupancy data is essential, as is building strong relationships to promote tenant satisfaction and retention. The specialist monitors market trends, rental rates, and competitor activity, provides management with reports, forecasts and performance analysis, and addresses tenant concerns in coordination with department leadership. • Source and attract new tenants through marketing and networking while maintaining KPIs. • Handle tenant inquiries, conduct property tours, and negotiate leasing proposals. • Prepare lease agreements, addendums, and ensure timely renewals and expirations. • Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, tenants, and occupancy data. • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure satisfaction and retention. • Address tenant concerns in coordination with department head and gather feedback. • Monitor market trends, rental rates, and competitor activities. • Provide management with reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
