About the Role

• Perform specific portions of engineering assignments, gathering and correlating data using standard procedures. • Conduct calculations and routine tests, proposing modified approaches for new problems. • Identify discrepancies in results and provide guidance to entry‑level engineers. • Manage tasks within budget and schedule with minimal supervision, completing primary design elements independently.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams, communicating effectively with clients, site personnel and project managers. Travel outside the Atlanta metropolitan area—from days to weeks—is required to support projects across the region and the United States. • BA/BS in Environmental Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience (or equivalent). • Valid U.S. driver’s license and successful motor vehicle records review. • Pass required drug and medical screenings. • Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred). • 5+ years leading site investigations, including soil/groundwater/vapor sampling and various drilling techniques. • Experience sampling PFAS per EPA protocols and optimizing groundwater remediation systems. • Knowledge of state and federal environmental programs; OSHA 40‑hr HAZWOPER and 30‑hr Construction training. • Proficiency with ArcGIS or CAD; professional engineer license or EIT status; prior federal security clearance is a plus.
