Job Highlights
About the Role
Customer Operations Engineers handle semi‑routine tasks while adhering to service‑level agreements and standard operating procedures. They collaborate across functions, manage work‑order queues, install and rack customer equipment, support cross‑connects, perform testing, and provide back‑up assistance to teammates and security personnel. • Review and respond to work order requests within committed SLA times. • Escalate non‑standard orders to appropriate teams per SOPs. • Update asset databases and maintain detailed activity logs. • Rack‑and‑stack customer equipment and support intra‑cage infrastructure installations. • Perform semi‑routine cross‑connect installs, terminations, modifications, and testing for coax, fiber, and copper. • Conduct layer‑1 certification testing and assist with layer‑2/3 testing under supervision. • Provide backup assistance to teammates and support operations/security personnel as needed. • Ensure timely, high‑quality service to customers, including on‑site access control and escorting. • Assist with project fulfillment, vendor coordination, and physical customer audits. • Complete assigned training promptly and support onboarding of new hires. • Obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance, demonstrate strong customer‑service orientation, and possess a background in IT, telecommunications, or data‑center environments.
