About the Role
The position requires maintaining collection activity in line with company and federal regulations, meeting phone activity and KPI targets, handling correspondence ethically, documenting owner accounts, supporting the collections team, and completing required training while embodying Hilton values. • Perform all collection activity in accordance with company and Federal regulations, facilitating acceptable delinquency percentages • Maintain required levels of phone activity, contact percentages and other key performance indicators • Legally, ethically and confidentially handle any correspondence and/or payments received • Maintain systematic and organized support documentation related to the handling of any owner account; request skip tracking as necessary • Assist all members of collections staff with daily process and procedure when required • Carry out any reasonable request by management • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures

What You Bring
This role is remote for candidates in the Central Florida area. The Inbound Collector handles inbound calls regarding past‑due mortgage and maintenance accounts, collects via phone and mail, and assists owners with understanding contract terms while complying with federal and state laws. The collector must be certified in call skills and the FDCPA, and will spend less than 30% of time assisting owners. Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication, remain calm under pressure, retain and recall information accurately, solve problems, and work well within a team.
