About the Role

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our growing Operations team. In this role you’ll sit at the intersection of people, technology, and process, owning Sitemate’s IT operations end‑to‑end—from device and access management to security and infrastructure initiatives—so the team can move fast without friction or unnecessary risk. You will keep our IT foundations strong, streamline tool and hardware provisioning, and manage key vendor relationships while driving initiatives that strengthen our security posture, support audit and compliance requirements, and evolve our IT practices to scale with the business. • Manage IT support and service delivery via ticketing system, triaging and resolving requests • Oversee device and access lifecycle: provisioning and de‑provisioning laptops, mobiles, apps, user access • Handle hardware procurement, distribution, inventory, and asset tracking • Maintain security and compliance (SOC 2, etc.), implement controls, conduct access reviews, deliver awareness training • Develop and improve IT policies, standards, documentation, and internal training • Plan and execute IT infrastructure changes, migrations, and tooling improvements • Manage IT vendors and third‑party platforms for performance and cost‑effectiveness • Identify bottlenecks and improve processes, automation, and systems to support growth • Balance hands‑on support with strategic, forward‑looking initiatives • Maintain security and compliance without creating bottlenecks

What You Bring

• Adapt to a fast‑paced environment and learn quickly • Experienced technical operator ready to own end‑to‑end IT function • Ability to switch gears quickly between support tickets, vendor negotiations, and compliance audits • Comfortable with hands‑on support while thinking strategically about systems and processes • Thrives in ambiguity, building processes and standards where none exist • Strong communicator translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders • Individuals preferring highly structured or repetitive tasks • Those uncomfortable with ambiguity or shifting responsibilities • Hands‑on experience managing IT systems, infrastructure, or technical operations • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to any audience • Solid understanding of security fundamentals for internal IT • Experience with device management/MDM platforms • Experience supporting security/compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001) • Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS tools (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Exposure to automation or scripting to improve IT workflows • Slack or similar collaboration tool • Microsoft and/or Google Workspace • Compliance and audit tooling (e.g., Drata)
