About the Role

• Perform electrical engineering design, including modeling, drawings, calculations, reports and design criteria. • Analyze and design electrical systems using company standard and proprietary software. • Assist in evaluating and selecting electrical systems and materials and develop specifications. • Contribute to electrical system development through sketches, electronic models, diagrams and visual formats. • Prepare engineering project documents, client presentations and communication for project deliverables. • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with design intent. • Develop construction specifications, plans and schedules for electrical engineering documents. • Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, prepare site observation reports and handle contract administration tasks. • Identify emerging technical problems and initiate corrective actions. • Undertake short‑term secondments in client environments when needed. • Promote and champion safe working practices in the electrical industry. • Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

What You Bring

• Be available for onsite visits or project commissioning as required. • Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. • Possess 6–8+ years of experience in water and wastewater projects. • Knowledge and experience with LV and MV power systems in Australia. • Proficient with CAD and power engineering software tools. • Demonstrate strong consulting skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders. • Hold CPEng and RPEQ status. • Work from the South Brisbane office at least three days per week. • Exhibit excellent people management skills.
