About the Role
This senior‑level specialist provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers, coordinating daily operations, recording data, and generating reports. The role requires minimal supervision and involves resolving most questions and problems, escalating only the most complex issues. Key responsibilities include managing parts purchasing and inventory control, processing purchase orders through WM's software while maintaining SOX compliance, and conducting bi‑annual physical inventory counts. The employee prepares month‑end reports, assists with safety and operational issue resolution, and uses various software tools for procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor. Additional duties involve data collection for incentive programs, processing payments, supporting operational projects, and communicating scheduling information to employees.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of relevant experience. Required skills include strong organizational abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the capability to work independently. A valid driver’s license is also required. • Comfortable working outdoors or in a shop with exposure to weather, noise, and odors • Experience with purchase orders and inventory management • Knowledge of automotive/mechanical parts • Strong organizational and computer skills • Self‑motivated and holds a valid driver’s license

Benefits
The work setting is primarily an office or outdoor landfill environment, with a base pay range of $22.00 to $26.86 per hour.
