About the Role
• Greet visitors and clients courteously and professionally. • Answer, screen, and route multi-line phone calls. • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office. • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems. • Perform accurate data entry and office recordkeeping. • Monitor office supplies and assist with reordering. • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls. • Take accurate messages and promptly distribute information. • Facilitate communication between office staff, field teams, and vendors. • Create and edit documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Word and Excel. • Scan, file, and maintain digital documents. • Assist with travel coordination, purchase orders, and vendor communications. • Ensure day‑to‑day office efficiency. • Provide a 401(k) plan with employer match. • Provide optional long‑term disability, critical illness, accident, legal, and pet coverage.

What You Bring
IES Residential is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Office Clerk to provide essential administrative and clerical support. This part‑time role can grow into a full‑time position based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative office environment. No formal education is required for this position, and candidates may have between zero and two years of related experience. Candidates should have at least one year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a fast‑paced setting, and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication are essential. The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are considered a plus, as is experience in construction or electrical contracting. The role is based in Arlington, Texas, and does not require any specific license. • Prioritize safety with a strong record.
