About the Role
The QAQC Tech, also titled Project Quality Inspector, works under general supervision to evaluate the degree of conformance of products to Brown & Root or client specifications. The role involves performing inspections of various project activities and generating reports that document conditions observed during inspection. The inspector notifies management of significant problems, completes documentation to certify satisfactory completion of inspections or tests, and provides specialized technical expertise in inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and problem‑solving tools. Recommendations for corrective action are made, and quality‑system knowledge is applied to validate contractual standards and improve safety, reliability, and maintainability. • Perform inspections of project activities and generate condition reports • Notify management of significant issues and recommend corrective actions • Complete documentation to certify satisfactory inspection or test completion • Apply specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and problem‑solving tools • Validate and verify contractual quality standards and implement performance evaluation methods • Maintain product quality standards, procedures, and materials throughout the work scope • Align quality management functions with product‑line performance needs and develop core competencies • Participate in professional training and development to support career advancement

What You Bring
The position requires a minimum of three years of related experience, certification as an ASNT Level II, and a preference for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.
