About the Role
• Operate underground mining equipment such as bolters, drills, blasting rigs, scalers, manlifts, telehandlers, loaders, haul trucks, shotcrete pumps, and water trucks. • Run face drills or roof bolters and wheel loaders in confined spaces to muck headings and load haul trucks. • Use scalers or excavators with scaler attachments to remove rock from mine walls. • Conduct blasting operations and handle explosives safely. • Perform daily pre‑ and post‑shift equipment inspections with required documentation. • Adhere to company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental safety regulations.

What You Bring
The company is seeking a Night Shift Equipment Operator for the Gallatin Quarry in Gallatin, TN. The successful candidate will join the development crew, initially working at the Reostone Quarry until the team relocates to Gallatin in April 2026. The role demands experience operating mining equipment in an underground environment and an uncompromising focus on safety, with duties that may include blasting, ventilation, and general quarry work. This is a full‑time night‑shift position with the ability to work weekends or days as needed, and flexibility for overtime. Wages start at $30.00 per hour. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and be prepared to work in a drug‑free environment. • Minimum one year of proficient underground mining equipment operation (preferred). • Valid Tennessee Explosive Handlers Card or Blasting Permit, or ability to obtain/renew. • Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence. • Able to work underground and outdoors in all weather conditions and loud environments. • Quick learner capable of performing new tasks independently. • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts, and pass pre‑employment drug screening.
