About the Role
Join a team delivering transformative transit and rail infrastructure across the Greater Toronto Area, applying civil engineering expertise to complex, multidisciplinary projects that shape the future of mobility and improve Ontario communities. In this role you will design civil infrastructure for major transit programs, develop engineering calculations, reports, specifications and cost estimates, and review the work of other engineers to ensure accuracy, constructability and compliance. You will collaborate with Track, Structural, Buildings, Systems and Environmental teams, conduct field reviews, and support construction with technical expertise while identifying risks and mitigation strategies. • Design civil infrastructure for major transit programs, including roadways, utilities, stormwater and grading. • Produce engineering designs, calculations, reports, specifications and cost estimates. • Review and guide the work of engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and constructability. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Track, Structural, Buildings, Systems and Environmental. • Conduct field reviews of civil works and provide technical support during construction. • Identify design risks and support mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost impacts. • Apply Metrolinx, City of Toronto and other authority requirements to deliver compliant infrastructure.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of hands‑on experience delivering civil designs for rail, transit or complex urban projects, deep knowledge of municipal and rail standards such as Metrolinx DRM and City of Toronto guidelines, and a P.Eng. licence in Ontario. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required, with MicroStation or InRoads considered an asset, and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary environments.
