About the Role

The Surveyor role involves conducting property, topographic and construction surveys with Total Station, GPS and laser‑scanning equipment, analysing the data, preparing field notes and reports, and interpreting maps, plans and legal documents. The specialist collaborates with project teams, develops survey plans that comply with local regulations, ensures safety, manages junior staff, performs boundary surveys, secures permits, maintains GIS databases, conducts quality checks, provides expert testimony, mentors colleagues, and drives methodological improvements. • Conduct property, topographic, and construction surveys using Total Station, GPS, and laser scanning. • Analyze survey data and prepare field notes, sketches, and reports. • Interpret maps, plans, and legal documents for project requirements. • Collaborate with project teams to meet survey data deadlines. • Develop survey plans for complex projects and stay current with local regulations. • Ensure safety procedures are followed and supervise junior surveyors. • Perform boundary surveys to establish legal property lines. • Obtain permits and access approvals from government agencies and landowners. • Create and maintain geospatial databases using GIS software. • Conduct quality control checks on survey data and deliverables. • Provide expert testimony in legal land dispute proceedings. • Mentor and train junior surveyors in field techniques and equipment operation. • Participate in project planning meetings to offer surveying expertise and cost estimates. • Develop and implement new surveying methodologies to improve efficiency. • Participate in retirement savings plan and employee stock purchase opportunities.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline and have at least four years of land‑surveying experience, preferably within the UAE. • Proficiently operate Total Station, GPS, and laser scanning equipment. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field. • Possess at least 4 years of land surveying experience, preferably in the UAE.
