About the Role

As a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Portfolio Advisory Group, the Director of Transaction Management will support one or more of the firm’s most dynamic client accounts by collaborating closely with peers and the account team to advance the client’s strategic real‑estate vision. The role embodies the team philosophy “Client First, Insight Always, Execution Excellence,” ensuring that every deliverable reflects innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact while overseeing day‑to‑day transaction management of large strategic initiatives across various asset classes. The director is accountable for people and account management, partnering with client corporate real‑estate teams and business‑unit leads to develop transactional strategies, leading client presentations, and managing direct reports through coaching and mentoring. In transaction management, the director implements portfolio plans, initiates new transactions, dispositions and renewals, guides brokerage and third‑party resources, negotiates globally, oversees legal review of lease documents, and maintains comprehensive process reporting and financial analysis. Strategic planning responsibilities include leading the development of client‑focused strategic plans, proactively identifying pull‑forward and occupancy cost‑saving opportunities, crafting expansion or contraction strategies, and supporting business‑case development with rigorous data and financial analyses to complete the strategic roadmap. The role also coordinates client reporting by creating standardized templates, ensuring data completeness, providing technical support to field agents and service partners, and preparing close‑out reports and value‑add calculations. Process documentation duties involve modifying existing playbooks to meet client requirements and driving continuous process improvements and innovations. • Lead client relationship management and deliver strategic real‑estate presentations. • Manage and execute large, complex transactions across multiple asset classes, including negotiations and legal review. • Oversee brokerage and third‑party resources, providing strategic guidance throughout transactions. • Perform market and financial analysis, maintain accurate transaction reporting and revenue tracking. • Develop and implement strategic portfolio plans, identifying cost‑saving and occupancy optimization opportunities. • Coordinate client reporting, create standardized templates, and prepare close‑out and value‑add reports. • Modify process documents and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

Candidates must have more than ten years of corporate real‑estate experience, a valid real‑estate license, and a track record of managing high‑level, complex transactions, including contract compliance and legal documentation. Required competencies include strong project‑management, team‑leadership, organizational, financial‑analysis and modeling skills, as well as advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, complemented by effective people‑leadership, relationship‑management, negotiation, and strategic‑thinking abilities. • Require 10+ years corporate real‑estate experience, a valid real‑estate license, and advanced financial modeling skills. • Demonstrated project‑management, team‑leadership, and strong negotiation and legal documentation abilities. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Cushman & Wakefield offers a competitive salary ranging from $195,500 to $230,000, a comprehensive benefits package covering health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health‑savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Compensation varies by location, experience and collective‑bargaining status, and the firm guarantees at least the minimum wage.
