About the Role

The Senior Facilities Manager provides managerial oversight for multiple facilities, an entire campus, or a client portfolio, with at least one Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager reporting directly. The role is responsible for implementing policies, procedures and programs that ensure well‑maintained buildings while addressing tenant concerns, environmental health and safety, and quality initiatives. Acting as the primary liaison with the client, the manager coordinates services, finances, vendors and staffing to meet current and future operational needs and drives overall financial and KPI performance. • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring custodial, life‑safety, engineering and maintenance services meet policy standards. • Manage service contracts cost‑effectively, conduct performance and financial reviews, lead RFPs, and align invoicing with contract terms. • Implement audit and control systems to satisfy statutory, policy and contractual obligations. • Lead the team in supervising interior and exterior maintenance programs. • Ensure staff promptly and positively responds to client and tenant requests. • Conduct ongoing contract reviews to assess needs and resolve issues for tenants, owners and properties. • Prepare and deliver consolidated reports on budgets, financials, contracts, expenditures and purchase orders. • Develop, present and explain the annual facility budget, quarterly forecasts and business plans. • Assist in creating capital budgets and five‑year maintenance and improvement plans. • Coordinate data collection and analysis to evaluate work‑order productivity, cost savings and identify service gaps for corrective action. • Approve staffing positions, direct hiring, training, motivation and performance evaluations of facility personnel. • Drive customer focus and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts. • Foster innovation by establishing best practices, improving operational efficiency and monitoring industry trends. • Ensure tenants and vendors meet insurance requirements and manage related claims. • Maintain a customer‑focused approach in service delivery. • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control. • Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders. • Promote teamwork and collaborative work environments. • Effectively manage vendor relationships and contracts.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management or Business Administration is required. Candidates must have 8‑10 years of facility management experience, including at least three years as a Facility Manager, with exposure to leasing, construction, engineering and full‑scope property operations. Experience with human‑resource and performance management processes, critical system environments, and CMMS/Work Order Management is preferred. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Apply technical proficiency in facility systems and operations. • Utilize problem‑solving and analytical abilities to address issues. • Exhibit leadership in guiding and motivating teams.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $106,250 to $125,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
